Revamping an Online Store Run by Physicians
This physician-developed web site was very successful, but was in need of a redesign to update to a more current look and simplify navigation. We delivered a fresh-looking web site with rotating masthead photos. Multiple navigation methods make it easier for shoppers to find the products they need, as do tabbed product information pages that keep content near the top of the page, all while remaining search-engine friendly. We made use of CSS for design and layout, in addition to templating, so that any future redesigns will be easier and more cost-effective to implement. We also provided a blogging space where the doctors can write brief informational pieces and directly address their web site visitors.
