Expanding the Market for Reclaimed Wood
The Urbanwood program encourages cities in Southeast Michigan to recycle their dead street and park trees, which would otherwise be thrown away, into high-quality products.
Billed as "Southeast Michigan's Reclaimed Wood Marketplace," the site spreads the word about these sustainable wood products, which include beautiful flooring and lumber. On the site, people can learn more about the benefits of using reclaimed wood, keep up with program news and related events, and learn about the program, which is a joint effort of the Southeast Michigan RC&D Council and Recycle Ann Arbor.
We built the web site integrating graphics from the program's print materials for a consistent look. A Content Management System allows the project team to maintain the site.
